Meet the Directors!

Kiana Chouinard (she/her, pictured left)
Kiana (M.A.) is honoured to have grown into a Co-Director role with Camp Dragonfly after years of volunteering at camp. When she’s not busy brainstorming youth programming for camp and beyond, you can find Kiana fostering connections and resilience through her position as Queer Access Navigator (Rainbow Alliance for Youth of Edmonton), playing board games, and lint-rolling dog hair off her pants.

Briggs (he/him, pictured right)
One of the co-Directors of Camp Dragonfly, Briggs has been an active volunteer since they were 5 years old, passionate about community outreach, building relationships through networking, and empowering individuals. He discovered Camp Dragonfly in the camp’s second year and instantly fell in love with its mission: give trans kids an authentic and fun summer camp experience. Since then, Dragonfly has been in his heart and on his mind 24/7. When not planning camp, Briggs facilitates two programs through Elevate Aviation; one where grade 5-12 students learn about aviation, and another where 2SLGBTQIA+ folks are helped to create powerful personalized resumes.

Brenna (she/they, not pictured)
Brenna is Camp Dragonfly’s Executive Assistant, helping to run the behind-the-scenes of camp! After hearing about Camp Dragonfly and seeing the work they do, she instantly knew her values aligned. Brenna is currently wrapping up a bachelor’s in commerce and marketing. When she’s not busy typing up documents, she’s busy thumping away at her sewing machine making cosplays and costumes.
