COVID-19 Safety Measures

COVID-19 Safety Measures

Camp Dragonfly will continue to follow some COVID 19 safety measures in an effort to protocol our community and ourselves. Please be in touch if you have specific questions or concerns.

1. Camp Dragonfly will be entirely outdoors in summer 2022. The only exception will be to access agender bathrooms, which are indoors. All individuals will be required to mask when accessing washrooms.

2. Given that camp is entirely outdoors, campers will need to be prepared for all weather conditions (sun, rain, snow). Please see the Pack List to help guide you in preparing for camp. There will be popup tents to offer some sun and rain protection.

3. All campers (ages 5+), counsellors, caregivers, and volunteers will be asked to wear masks, even in an outdoor setting. We will do our best to maintain distance between one another.

4. Staff & volunteers will be fully vaccinated against COVID 19 (unless a medical exemption note is provided).

5. Sick Policy: Caregivers will be asked to complete a self screening of their child(ren) each day before camp. If your child is even slightly unwell please do not bring them to camp, even if they have a negative result on a rapid test. If your child begins to show symptoms while at camp (unrelated to a pre-existing condition eg. asthma) caregivers or emergency contacts will be called to come and pick up their child.
